Confirm before sealing
Match the order to the physical items. Check variants, quantities and any required inserts. Keep unresolved orders in a designated area so they do not accidentally enter the completed shipment queue.
Protect the contents consistently
Choose packaging suited to the product and its handling needs. Keep supplies within reach and define a repeatable packing method for common combinations. Record the finished weight and dimensions after the packaging is complete.
Apply one label to one confirmed parcel
Remove or cover old shipping labels on reused packaging. Keep the new barcode readable and avoid placing it across a seam or an edge.
If several labels are printed together, reconcile them with the physical parcels before handoff. A printed label alone is not proof that a package has left the warehouse.
